This is an amazing example of an Mbole copper currency. It has a wonderful large and thick bulbous form and a beautiful surface patina, but what truly makes this piece special besides its form, are the two traditional restorations on its outer shell as shown in the photos. I have never seen this detail before on an Mbole currency. This only lays testament to the value that was once probably placed on this particular piece as a tribal currency or as a symbol of wealth.
