This ancestral female figure sits in an upright position on a stool, a traditional symbol of prestige and importance. Her marionette, movable arms have been carved in two sections. Her palms are upturned in a gesture of ancestral worship. The surface of the ancestral figure exhibits an eroded, weathered patina.
