This very unusual Makua animal mask depicts a wild cat or mouse. The mask features an elongated nose and small, upturned ears. Strands of tiny glass beads and a set of inserted animal teeth can be found below the nose. The wooden surface has been coloured with red pigments, and finely engraved whiskers adorn each side of the mask.
