Arm Cuff

Upper Arm Cuff. Coastal Region of Bagamoyo District. Tanzania
This finely decorated wooden upper arm cuff has been carved in a cylindrical form which tapers in at the centre.
The top and bottom of the cuff have been adorned with rows of zig-zag decorations, which frame a central band of geometric designs.
The surface of the cuff exhibits a worn patina, due to use and handling over the years.
