A carved human head, flanked by two large round chambers, can be found at the top of the bellows. A hole, located at the back of the carved head, indicates where the bellows would have been traditionally hung on the wall.
This bellows exhibits a powerful, sculptural quality, with its wonderfully abstracted figurative form. Traces of burnt carbon are present on various parts of the bellows, and the surface exhibits a dry, crackled patina.
