Two cut-out geometric designs draw attention to the backrest of this low-set, medium-sized nineteenth-century chair from the Gindabarat region of Ethiopia.
Beautiful etched decorations cover both sides of the backrest, and can be found on the outer edges of the upright stilts that support the seat of the chair.
