This kneeling Madonna in depicted in prayer and is dressed in a long garment with a central band.
Her head faces downward in an act of contemplation whilst she clasps her hands together in a sign of devotion and prayer. A veil, covering her hair, is depicted draping over the contours of her carved head, shoulders and back.
The figures exhibits a smooth and worn surface patina from touching and handling.
