‍Miniature Bronze Horseman. Dogon, Mali

This finely cast Dogon bronze depicts a raider sitting on a horse. The horseman holds a spiral-shaped shield in his left-hand. 

 The surface of this Dogon bronze exhibits a nice smooth, worn patina. 

Estimated Period: Late 19th / Early 20th Century
