Carved from a tree branch - with one of the rear splayed legs joined to the main body - this rare Ethiopian stool takes the form of an animal, poised in a dynamic stance with four splayed legs. The head of the animal is slightly upturned, and exhibits a wonderful primal expression.
This stool was field collected in Ethiopia in the early 1990's.
