Unusually, the shape of this Ethiopian high-back chair follows the natural formation of the branch or root of a tree branch. The wonderful organic shape of the chair comprises four splayed legs, in which one of the legs is joined to the main body, and a long, upright back support.
The overall surface of the chair has a deep worn patina, shiny in parts from touching and wear.
