Consisting of a small rounded gourd covered with a netting of small glass beads with tassels . It is likely the piece would have been huge, traditionally displayed as a object of prestige. It is considered this piece follows in the tradition of the Fon culture, who were known to keep small gourds decorated with beads as fetish/prestige objects.
