A beautifully cast Senufo bronze amulet or charm depicting two linked figures each with their arms holding their stomach. Fine decorative details to the lower section and to the flat relief feet of each figure. Interesting to note is the 'fifth leg' set in the middle and between each of the pairs of legs. The surface is of each figure is worn and smooth, there is a worn patina to the inner surface of each of the out curved arms where the amulet would have been attached to the body (likely the upper arm). Pieces depicting ancestor figures, usually a pair of figures, were worn to obtain forgiveness and protection.
