It is unusual to find a Mossi doll carved in this form, showing the abstract female form with outstretched arms by its side. The sculpture is beautifully executed and finely balanced, a long extension follows down the bridge of the face with the body decorated with fine cross-hatch and striations designs. The surface patina is deep, worn and glossy.
