A striking Dan mask distinguished by its dynamic, powerful expression and compelling combination of strength and beauty. The finely carved facial features include rounded eyes, a delicately modelled nose and large, pronounced lips. The forehead is crowned by a distinctive, parted coiffure rising into a horn-like formation. The surface of the face has been highlighted with natural pigments.
