This late 19th/Early 20th Century Zulu leg adornment comprises of multiple bands stitched together to form one piece. At one end is a vertical row of early metal buttons used to fasten the cuff through beaded loops (some now missing) at the opposite end of the wide cuff. The rest of the piece has been decorated with tiny 19th century glass beads of white, black, red, blue, green, pink and yellow. Considering its age the piece is in good condition with only some missing beads around the loops at one end.
