Wonderful Large Wooden Bench From One Piece. Likely Gurage Culture, Ethiopia

This expectational piece of furniture was likely traditionally used both as a bench and a day bed. Craved from one huge tree with a fork to one end the fat surface is supported by three short solid block shaped legs. The surface has developed a lovely deep and rich patina.
