The fetish consists of a small carved wooden female bust with finely carved facial features. Bound to the back of the figure is a animal horn filled with dried fetish materials with strands of glass beads decorate its neck, the surface is encrusted and oily. Likely carried in the hand by a Makonde traditional healer and/or placed on an alter during healing rituals.
