A small yet powerful fetish figure from the Sambaa culture of Tanzania. The male figure stands upright, with an animal horn bound to its body that was used as a container for traditional medicines. The body is bound and wrapped in animal hide, with old glass beads adorning the neck. Tiny white glass beads have been inserted as eyes. The surface patina is dry and encrusted.
