A fine Makonde Lipiko mask,with a downcast, powerful expression, large lips and a prominent lip adornment. Unique to this mask are the attractive raised circular and star designs that decorate its coiffeur, together with the fine detailing to each side; these are thought to be a form of ‘artistic signature’, giving this mask its distinct character.
