A beautifully cast ring depicting a Dogon horse and rider. The detail of the casting is very fine with the rider, wearing a turban, sitting update with what appears to be a hocked staff in one hand. The horse has a spiral decoration on one side which is commonly seen on Dogon rings. The ring exhibits a lovely smooth golden surface patina.
