Coloured with red, white and black pigments, this fine Pende Giphogo mask consists of a heart-shaped face, beautifully contoured with a light-coloured frame, surmounted by two horns. The face of the mask features a pair of elongated, elliptical eyes, offset with two linear scarification markings below. Alternations of white and black pigment provide a spiralling, twisted visual effect to the horns, creating a striking, contrasting two-tone appearance.
