Group of three fine miniature Dogon/Tellem shrine ladders.
The two larger ladders of this trio are exceptional in their form and age, their surface patina indicate that they possible date back to the Tellem period. The centre smaller ladder is a later example and would date to the first quarter of the twentieth century.
