In terms of size alone it is hard to find Ethiopian chairs in this impressive size. The huge circular seat with a worn and rippled surface is supported by three slightly curved upright supports. The cut-out cross formation back support (typical with chairs from this region) reclines backwards making the chair comfortable to sit on. Once carved from one huge block of wood this in itself is a testament to this chairs age and importance.
