Among traditional Zigua medicine containers, it is rare to find a stopper like this example. The top of the wooden stopper has been beautifully carved into the form of an owl, with a pair of alert, white beaded eyes. At the top of the owl's head is a medicine hole, and below, the owl has been adorned with two strands of white glass beads.
