Chieftain's staff in an unusual full figurative form with a deep honey patina. The head of the male figure has a distinctive cropped hairstyle, a symbol of higher rank that is sometimes found in early 20th century chieftains' staffs and prestige clubs from this region. Decorating the neck and legs are fine strands of wire.
