This Zulu fired earthen pot, which was formerly part of the London-based artist Romy Rey's collection, has an unusually tapered neck decorated with a roughened, etched surface. A series of triangular designs feature below the neck, and the body of the pot has been beautifully adorned with bands of raised 'amasumpa' designs.
